nobody knows? And you call yourselves Beckerheads....lol

Alright, j, ya caught me. My Gen1 is back in Tn. My Gen 2 is 3/16", its with me. I don't think the hole sizes have changed, just the skeleton'ing of the handle, and the pommel extension.

I know Bladite will be updating the Blade data base with this when he measures his. :D

they are all 3/16 regardless of generation. That goes for all of the full sized Becker's, KA BAR or Camillus. Got's me a slab of Micarta that looks just like that. That'd be a cool project. Could you keep updating with pictures? Please.

You guys ROCK. I knew you boys would come through for me.:thumbup:Thanks!!

wait longer than 2 hours before getting uppity next time ;) good thing i was eating dinner there. rawr ;) :D

hole spacing has been consistent for 30 years too. handle profile has changed slightly, so the very old machaxes with estalocs can't get micarta to be a perfect fit, it's close. pretty much everything else is spot on.

now, if KaBar would stop changing screw types around, even that would be easy peasy. as it is, a simple fix by buying your own high quality fasteners.

Im impatient. :D

Seriously, I was just razzin. Didnt mean to be uppity in the least. :)

Ya know, its easy to forget that these have been around that long. When I read 30 years, it dawned on me about Camilius. Really cool. I miss that company. Beckers, US knives, slipjoints, what a great old company.

I havent been over here before. Lots of good reading.
