Rehandle with built in bolster

I'm going to be rehandling and 20-something year old wusthof chef knife with a built in bolster. The inside of the bolster has a sweeping curve beneath the handle scales which I know is going to be a pain to fit perfectly. Any tips for matching the radius of that curve better? Seems like when I look around, everyone just squares off the shoulders but, in my opinion, that looks cheap. I do still have most of the old scales so at a bare minimum i can trace the radius over and go from there.

With a pencil mark all the inside of the radius on bolster and push the scale up to it then just sand off there is marked with pencil on the scale
It's a real PITA

Just trace the radius onto the handle material.

Those knives are mass produce on machines and the bolster is welded on and then a robot ground the radius.

it does look nice when you match it up, its worth it imo
