You don't see many rehandled Bucks. Here's an interesting one on eBay right now...

Verrry interesting.... I wonder if someone did that to get a better grip.
 
It does'nt show it but I think thats an older 105. Possibily from 1972-79 because of the finger guard.DM

It does appear to have the second Micarta spacers behind the guard. Must be a replacement sheath. The description says that the blade is marked BUCK 105 U.S.A.
 
Which would be correct for the time period I stated.A 440C blade.In the picture a thicker edge can be seen.ie convex DM
