various fiscal headaches of late have kept me from putting in the order, but i'm finally getting my S1/WM1 combo.
i'm debating if i should order them as blade blanks or as Zytel sheathed Thermorun Handled one. the price difference is, surprisingly, negligible.
if i get one with a production handle, i hear that the handle tang isn't quite full width.
would this be an insurmountable problem if i decide to rehandle it later with, for example, bright International Danger Signal Orange micarta scales or some nice Jarrah Burl or Gidyea hardwood?
