Just acquired a Buck Reaper. I love the blade shape. The original handles were actually pretty comfortable but my talented twin, the carpenter, whipped up a couple of Bird's-eye Maple scales.

Just slightly thicker but they change the entire character of the knife. I'll post when they are finished.

I messed around with my reaper when I first bought it I made some handles. I hate the plastic ones.
Problem is I am a mechanic not a very good carpenter. I am picky and couldn't get them just right. I ended up doing Paracord wraps instead.
Maybe when I get some free time I will try again . Looking forward to seeing end result

U sound like me. I'm a mechanic also and just not very good with wood ( :D) I have a knife that's got 2 thin pieces of plastic screwd to the handles, I like everything else about it except those. Looks very simple to make......I tried......laughed at myself and put the plastic back on.
