Rehandling? Or order anew/sell the old?

I'm both blessed and cursed in terms of my Busses' features: my sterile AMS with hand shaped black canvas/solid bolts and the standard black coating/FFG...love the handle, hate the finish and grind. My custom shop NMSFNO with full convex grind/satin finish and magnum tan canvas/hollow bolts...love the finish and grind, hate the handle.

For the AMS, I know I need to call the CS and pony up for a sterile, satin, convex AMS with the same handle my current AMS has. For the NFSFNO, though, would it make more sense to send Busse my current blade and ask them to put hand shaped magnum black canvas/solid bolts on it (and maybe polish out the CS logo if they can)? Anyone who's done it before comment on pricing and turn around time for re-handling?

I have no idea of pricing as I have never sent anything in.. but I bet Garth can help you out if you send him a mail.

You could as well send the AMS in for stripping and convexing. No need to buy a whole new blade, unless you want a second AMS of course.
