Rehanging sledgehammer with a fiberglass handle?

So I broke my neighbors sledgehammer handle today. It was an accident but instead of the wood handle that was on it (and which I know can replace) he wants a fiberglass handle. I can get one from blue home improvement but am I gonna be able to retro fit a wood handled sledge hammer to fiberglass?

Short answer...Yes. Manufactures didn't make a separate head for each type of handle.

Thanks. I wouldn't choose a fiberglass handle because it seems tricky to epoxy the head on. Sigh.
