I have the Exotac matchcase, and can figure out something else on my own. What other commercial containers are there that will hold these beast?

I don't care for the KM.

Every time I've had mine in the pocket the thing has come open or the little strings get tangled on everything. Has to be the worse design I've ever seen.

They have a huge fan club here so my opinion is not the majority:thumbup:

I gave mine away and got some of the cheap plastic ones that SCREW on. Cheaper, no silly strings, orange so I don't lose them;):o

The K&M I too think is the best one out there I've tried ( and Lost!) but I think there will be others that people like. On the K&M if you twist the top untill the string is to short to let it come out it wont come uncorked. The compass they're using now is a good one.

I don't know the REI match case, but the Outdoor Products one works fine for me. It's under $3, orange and holds enough matches for a trip. Just put some cotton inside to keep things from rattling around.

^This!

I bought one similar from walmart for like 2 bucks and change, it's totally waterproof and it has a small ferro-rod attached to the butt. I don't see how the 19$ one could be so much better.

Tall prescription bottle works well, the price is right. Your local pharmacy would most likely donate one to you.

I have the cases mentioned in nearly all the replies. REI matches are too long to fit. They are 3" long.

I use a prescription bottle and trim the matches to fit.

Another vote for K&M. American made. Great customer service.
