Hey now, that one looks real sharp!

That moonglow is some interesting stuff, how long will it keep glowing for after a charge?

Nice job there Peter!

interesting concept. how are the layers put together?

i am always impressed with your work. a couple observations if i may, in the second picture, there appear to be gaps between the two layers where the glowing layer meets the orange layer. is this still a wip?

if the hardware were flush with the scales, it would have a more finished and professional look.

no insult intended, as i said i really enjoy seeing your work.

there not gaps, i sanded off the moonglow a bit too aggressively and it burned at the edges. and no insult taken im a much harsher critic of my work than anyone could ever be.

and yes about the hardware. i realised half way through the process that i made the orange g10 layer too thin. so i had to sculpt too far beyond the countersink to expose the orange as i intended. hence the exposed hardware. next time ill leave over an 1/8th of g10 and remove more moonglow.

i have a cf/ moonglow and a cf/silver twill in the works as well as a tiger/moonglow/tetris pattern.

Very cool kind of looks like a glow in the dark creamsicle scale :)
