I know this has likely been beaten to death, but I desperately want one. They are just beautiful and I would pay big dollars for one.
Please????
I heard that at some point Kabar was going to do a big Becker release. Anyone know if this will be part of that?
Thanks.

As far as I know, no Reinhardt/Becker Kukri's. As far a seeking to buy one here, don't do that. There is the exchange, and if someone has one and is interested, make sure your email on your User's options is on, so they could get in contact.

Now, lets make this a good RBK thread, which one do you like the most? The stainless, sterile grey, or the beat up, trashed users?

I just got my favorite last week, its a sterile grey, carbon steel version. No markings (hence the sterile) and in nearly mint condition.

This is one of Ethan's, its the beat up user kind, and an effing BEAST when it comes to chopping.

Reinhardt/Becker Kukri specs Blackjack Sterile

Carbon steel ??? (Not 52-100)
OAL-18 1/2"
Blade Length- 13 1/4"
Thickness- .125 (1/8")
Width at the widest-2 1/4"
Weight- 15 1/2oz (just shy of 1lb)

Flat grind, no taper, forward weighted, and one fierce, fierce chopping tool. Against wood, its a chopping phenom, I don't want to think what this thing is capapble of in soft tissue. Think, dismemberment in one blow, easy.

Most were made of 440c (??? Bladite, help me out here), but mine is a carbon steel (it has been tested and verified) version that has an grey, "enamel" epoxy finish.

I'm gonna take photos soon, but the light in my house sucks, and I want some good lighting and settings, and the weather has not been agreeing with my "woodland setting" ideas.

it's a pretty cool khukri shaped object. you should see what a REAL khukri can do :>

eventually, i've been meaning to collect the Reinhardt specs and put them in the DB, but haven't gotten a round tuit. in my large collection of paper specs and propaganda and literature, there's NOTHING on the Reinhardt. oopsie :)

So it's more of a 'khukri machete' than an actual khukri? Thanks for the info!

Hmm. Guess I'm gonna have to go gold at some point then.

Its worth every penny, and in 2011, hopefully you get a bonus, not sure what it will be though.
