No. That project was dropped due to lack of interest. What's the sense it making something like that if it isn't going to sell?

I've read that they push back the release date a month or two every time somebody asks.;)
 
Every time I about to breakdown and order a 4, a little voice says - "Wait a minute! You know the RBK will drop tomorrow if you do."

Now I thinking maybe I'll take one for the team and order a 4 just to make the RBK drop! ;)

I've got a real guess, but that's all it would be. I'm not part of the circle that might know such things; but I suspect that we'll decide it's worth the money.

Truth is Ka-Bar recently adopted a policy of not announcing new products or talking about release dates until knives are actually in boxes on their way to retailers. The is no release date, there is no new information, there will not be any updates until you can actually purchase the knife. It'll be released when it gets released. Best thing to do right now is put it out of your mind and buy whatever else you've been drooling over. (get your BK4's while you can!)
 
I have already bought a set of TKC scales for the Kukri when they are available. The scales are just sitting here in the bag waiting................Someday :)

Yeah, the BK4 itch got me bad today. Turning into a full-blown rash.

Go ahead and buy it. The 4 is supposed to be discontinued in 2015 and the RBK is supposed to be released in 2015 but who knows when or if there will be any overlap.
