I've had this on pre-order since 6-16. I got all excited last week, got 2 emails from dealers that the knives where in stock; I ordered one from each dealer. Turns out it was all a big mistake, by who? Unknown. No knives available from either dealer, one said all sold out before I ordered, I can't confirm this in any way. The other says they "think" they never had the knives in stock.

Can any one provide further information? Thank you.
 
Hi Grizz,

The entire first shipment was not up to standard. The repairs made by the maker were, unfortunately also not up to standard. We had to make the entire run with another maker. New tooling, etc. They are now being built and we expect them early in the year.

Well, that's unfortunate. What happens to the product when it doesn't meet the expectations? Is the manufacturer obligated to destroy them?
 
Hi Sal, Thanks so much for your personal answer; sorry to hear of all the difficulties. They still will be CTS-XHP & CF/G10 laminate, right?

They will probably be sold as 2nds during the 2nds sale in November.

Yes on the scales, I don't remember the steel. I'm sure it will be good steel.
