Earlier this year, I carried my custom Andre' Thorburn folder for the day.

Oh I love this knife with huge pieces of abalone shell. It was perfect for me.

At the end of that day, though, it was gone. I looked all over for it but it was clear that I had lost it.

Today, I had some popcorn while sitting in my favorite chair. In dropped a few kernels. I reached down into the chair to get those kernels up. And I felt something. I brought it out. It is my lost Thorburn.

I have my Thorburn back! It is beautiful and perfect for me.

So, please joint me I rejoicing that my lost knife is found!

awesome! I love it when I find lost stuff! now if I could just find my car title that I misplaced!

Pics or it didn't happen! lol

I fully undestand... Same thing happened to me with the first knife I ever bought, a G10 Kershaw Leek. To me it seemed ridiculously expensive back then, but got it because I had ebay bux (credit). I suffered and beat myself up over losing it for like 3 weeks. Then, cleanining under the couch (where I had already looked for it), I too found it!

Never lose hope people!

What a glorious day! Congratulations. I toast with a bag of popcorn. Mike

Some knives have an elusive personality. I have a Case Mini Copperhead in Blue Bone that I have never really "lost". Yet, somehow I manage to find it all the time, everywhere in fact. It's in the kitchen, then the car, then under the bed, then in the closet in a shoe, then in the garage. I swear it has legs. I never notice it's gone, but I find it everywhere.

Be warned Gollnick, your knife may be one of those elusive knives!

Congrats Chuck. I know that feeling well, I've lost a couple of favored knives myself. As much as I enjoy carrying a fine knife, I can't deny that it makes me physically ill when I misplace one.

Congrats, always great to get a knife back. I lost an XM-18 once. A week later it showed up on my desk, someone had found it in the parking lot.

Be careful now with it. Once they've had a taste of freedom they can make escaping a habit. I had an endura like that. Every time it got more and more difficult to find.

:)

Good find! I hate losing them, A custom would make it worse too.

The blade gods have smiled upon you! Glad to hear you found it!

Sweet! Let's see it!

Good news and congratulations. I have great respect for the capacity of the gaping vacuum of the great black hole that lurks within recliners and most easy chairs.

Congrats! It's a great feeling to find a lost loved one.:D

I thought I had lost a William Henry Gen-tac a couple years back. I had just about finished the grieving process, and was almost able to think about it without that sick feeling. Then we were cleaning up the mini-van and I found it between the seat and the console, way down deep under the e-brake. Oh, what a happy day!

There are still two out there that I would love to find, but am certain they were stolen.:(

I lost a Severtech Spartan while fishing with the kids one day at a local park. It was at least 5 years ago and I still get ill thinking about. Probably picked-up by someone who had no idea they were holding a 500.00 automatic marvel. Can't talk about it anymore or I will need therapy.
