This morning started with church, followed by a whirlwind trip to JoAnn Fabrics, Michael's, Walmart, and Ollie's. When we got home, I reached in my pocket (as I am want to do), and noticed that my Fallkniven U2 was gone. Gone, I said. Gone.

I check all over the car seat because that's my #1 place to lose pocket stuff. Nothing.

Then, my wife convinced me to start calling all the stores. Truly, I would doubt that lost knife would make it back home if dropped in a Walmart, but I started there because I had sat down several times to try on shoes.

We called all the stores. Nothing. We even went to Walmart to retrace my steps. That was actually kind of fun. The kids and I retraced our conversations, too. LOL

Well, that little knife still didn't turn up. So, my wife says, "You should check my car." What? Now, I had sat in it for 10 minutes taking it for a test drive to make sure the new fuel filter was working fine. But I was in and out so fast that I'd almost forgotten about it already.

And there it was, snuggled up so nicely next to the seat belt receptacle. Bad little, U2!

My wife just smiled and said, "I prayed that you'd find it." It was lost and now is found.

By the way, I've misplaced this knife more than any other. I think because it's so light.

I will rejoice! Cheers friend!

I had my Leatherman Juice S2 drop out of my pocket. I went without it for a few days. I had mostly lost hope of finding it, except for maybe a vague idea that I would go and check lost and found later. Turns out that it was on the ground under a bench I sat on to read a book. It had landed in the damp dirt, but just had a little bit of gunk inside and wasn't rusting out on me. Indeed, I can celebrate with you

I had an early shift at work, and changed in the bathroom before I left work, and was in a huge rush to make the train... And I accidentally left my tuff lite. I was way more upset than I had any reason to be - but that was the one knife I had left from before I moved.

I show up to work the next day and immediately check the bathroom - about 19 hours later. Gone.

I walk out with just one knife, feeling naked and annoyed with myself, and then the general manager pulls me aside.

"I think this is yours."

I wanted to hug that man.

That's good to hear. The U2 is a nifty, little knife. I came close to getting one, but talked myself out of it. Seems like an efficient little package. Hope to get one some day.

Glad that you found your knife.
Just the other morning I found my Leek, which had been missing for about 3 months.
It somehow got wedged under my center console and while getting gas I saw shiny silver under there and I was so surprised when it turned out to be the lost Keshaw.
I really had given up on it and never even thought it was in the car, I thought I lost it in my house.
