Just a quick note of thanks to Bob Taylor and Christine(i think, sorry if I'm wrong), in their Blade show booth. I got a very good deal on a Pioneer drop point (2nd) and passed up an even better deal on another knife (I'm kicking myself daily Bob, I should have taken you up on your offer for one of the pair you had). Bob was very engaging and I wish like hell I could grow hair like his

. It's a good thing I've got a halfway decent shaped head!! Bob had some familiarity with rural San Diego from "the old days" and that helped break the ice (for me) and I enjoyed our conversation. By the way, the "second" I bought, turned out OK, I tightened up the pivot screws (and added Loc-tite), a bit of time on the Sharpmaker and i've got one hell for stout work knife.
