REKAT name and LOGO

With out searching for this in past threads... This thought came to me.

The Company name is Round Eye K&T... The Logo is an eye... some of the blades are named after certain JRR TOLKIEN folks... Very powerful writing... Classic liturature... In the Lord of the Rings series, there is a fellow by the name Sauron I believe. If I remember it right, his banner and symbols were "The Eye of Sauron" which watched over his armies and glared at his enemies.
Very powerful impression. Thats the impression I have here of where you came up with you company identity.

Am I close?

Back to the name issue.
Round Eye is a sort of nick name given to occidentals. It was meant as a sideways tounge in cheek name for a company owned by Round Eyes. Im a half breed so I guess we should have named it white eyes.
The Hobbit came from a old nick name The Hobbit From Hell, being a munchkin and having a attitude.
If this is going to open up the race issue all over again give it a rest. I say its a joke boy.

I kind of like the name "Blue Eye Knife And Tool", too. If anyone with round eyes object to your current name, I would be honored if you decided to change to that.

As in "Old Blue Eyes Knife and Tool"? With Bob as the "Chairman of the Board"? Who would make up the rest of the "Rat Pack"?

OBEKAT sounds like a George Lucas name for a Jedi Knight not bad.
BTW the CEO does have sky blue eyes.
Now go figure she is from California, Last name Montero and Claims to be Castillian Spanish right. Blue eyed Mexican.

I knew it! Your company name is based on the idea of the old Chinese calling whites "guai-lo" (I wonder if that's spelled right), whic translates to "roundeye." Dammit, if I guessed that earlier, would I have gotten a knife out of it?

That doesn't offend me (I'm filipino--actually an Asian roundeye, myself), I thought it was really funny when I first guessed it. In fact, I was on the way home from my girlfriend's parents' house in Sagle (I wanted to visit your shop there, but you said your insurance folks wouldn't allow it

), and that's when I figured it out. Weird. Anyway, I like your company name the way it is, it gives the impression of both dedication and humor to your work. Don't stop making neck knives!

Hmmm...
Not as cool of a reason as I thought...

Oh Well.
