See we listen to you people, as of immediately the Carnivore, Pocket Hobbit and Sifu will be sporting a racy ambidextrous thumb stud. (BlackT knives have the single, until Walter Birdsong gets us the ambidextrous thumb studs BlackT ),
The Pioneers will have a single sided thumb stud until we run out of stock on them then they also will have the ambidextrous thumb stud.
The Gijan Warrior will be out in late October and will be 1085 high carbon (RC58) with we hope two color schemes (tactical, SWAT or ninja) BlackT with a black handle and black butt cap and with any luck NATO Green blade with a camouflage handle and NATO Green butt cap. This will have the same basic dimensions of the AMK version but 9 ounces lighter with a multi carry Kydex sheath. We are working on a SMRP of $179.95.
Later we might offer a stainless steel version.
We have added a Laser Engraver (due in house late September) and will be doing some wild and exciting things like Laser Engraved handles and special editions (ask Spark about his babe Carnivore).
We have recently heard from the U.S. Patent Office and with any luck the Wakatan Folding Sword might make its debut at the SHOT Show. This is a 9.5-inch bladed Tanto with a 10-inch handle, which with a push of a button and a flick of the wrist becomes a 19.5-inch sword (you listening Jim March). This will feature our new patent pending Stud Lock (isn’t that a studley name) which is off the scale as far as lock strength. The Stud Lock also holds the blade closed. There are three variations of this on the drawing boards.

Some days it's not worth chewing through the restraints and escaping.

The ambi thumbstud on the Sifus and others is VERY much appreciated. Especially since I'll often carry the Sifu as a southpaw-access backup to my Outsider.

As to the bigger piece.

Oh ya.

Oh HELL ya.

Please keep us informed.

Absofreakinlutely. That actually sounds better than Kevin's Hydra.

Pretty exciting stuff. A stud lock? Sounds like something my wife needs to get for me. Is the stud lock supposed to be that much stronger than the rolling lock? It seems as though REKAT is making plenty of large folders and knives. I would still like to see a few more smaller ones. I know REKAT offers plenty of under 4" folders but only one high speed low drag one like the Carnivour. It sounds like you all have plenty of irons in the fire. I am sure all of the future models will be successful. I wont be holding my breath for that micro sifu anytime soon. Or the fixed blade Carnivour. Wow, who would have thought I would be calling a 4" knife micro?

Bob I want a Gigan with the green birdsong finish as soon as I can order one. Please let me know when that is. I am a hobbit and warrior freak and this will bring it to new levels. But I know I need a sword and that Wakatan sounds like it will fill a desperate weak point in my system. I cant wait to see them I'm sure that I will have to order one of those too!!! By the way can we still order the Sifu through the forums? I'm trying to raise the money and still have enough squirrelled away for an instant order for the Gigan the second I can place it. Thanks for great fighting knives!!

Bob,

Thanks for listening and putting the ambi-thumb stud on your knives.

Damon

Bob!

Can I order dual thumb studs to put on my pocket hobbit and carnivoure seperately?

Bob,

Very happy to hear about the Wakatan status.

Will the Stud-lock be amidextrous?

Damn you Bob, I read about that Wakatan and staryted drooling on my keyboard!

I second the HELL YEAH! I've gotta start saving up. Sifu or Wakatan, Sifu or Wakatan, oh hell, I'll just buy 'em both.

Just because I talk to myself doesn't mean I'm crazy. What's wrong with getting a second opinion?
