in the feb '02 edition of guns and weapons for law enforcement (GWLE) magazine on page 10 they have an article written by al pickles about the SIFU - the usual stuff really, but he does say they have a catalog and i quote as he is describing how the rolling lock works 'for line(sic) (maybe fine??) illustrations you can obtain their catalog which offers far more info than my column can handle' so i guess they do have a catalog now, i think i will shoot them a letter and see if i can get one - no mention of a website - addy listed is as follows :

REKAT
PO Box 818
Sagle, ID
83860
888 801 8858 (which i THINK is toll free)

hope this is of some use for someone in need , maybe we can all get a catalog, that would be cool

In addition, The American Tomahawk Company's table was eat-up with the new Pioneer-looking things at the Chesapeake Knife Show. Not sure what the new model's called--the one with the overlay on the handle. Nice-looking little knife though, and they had Concealex shoulder rigs for them and sold them as a pair.

Professor.

The knife in question is a Savant. I bought one at that same show. It replaces the Pioneer and is a huge improvement (in almost every way). My only complaint is the tip up clip.

If the clip screws thread into the aluminum and not the g10 scales, I may look at replacing the scales with something more attractive. Mebbe colored G10 or some sort of wood or stag.

OH! I cannot wait to get my hands on a Savant. I have the PII, and love it. Any improvement may cause me to have a heart condition. And a shoulder rig? I've always wanted to get a knife and a shoulder rig, but never managed to.

This may be my chance! oh, my brainy-thinky thing hurtz! ive gotta go cool down....lol.

anyone got a pic of the shoulder rig?
