I've had a Hobbit Warrior for a number of years. I like it, but the design is not for everybody.
The knife was designed as a reverse-grip fighter. For those that understand its design, and whose style fits it, it works well.
I also find it to be a decent utility knife. It has a foam-type grip that is quite secure. The blade has a lot of belly. Some people find the hilt to be uncomfortable in the forward grip, but it doesn't particularly bother me. The teeth on the back are designed for trapping techniques, and will prohibit using your hand to push on the back of the blade. The knife doesn't have the weight or balance to be a good chopper.
