REKAT- What do I have here?

It is called the Hobbit Fang and was available in 2000. It is made from 1095 carbon steel. List price was $54.95 in 2000. Nice find.
 
I never should have gotten rid of the one I had. Found a pocket hobbit to go with the warrior, so now I need to find another fang to get the set together.
 
Nice find, kinda reminds me of the $800 Harleys that run with clean titles.


It's one of those things some one else finds, except me:( , $10 REKAT) anyway still a great find.
 
Nice find. I've got one of those right here next to me. Of course, mine cost me a good bit more.
 
I actually bought a whole pile from the guy and he gave me a better discount on them all. I'd pick one up, ask the price and then put it on my pile. I spent $165 total for the rekat, a swisstool plus, a klotzli folder, a puma general, a victorinox cybertool, a canvas carry bag, a spyderco knife pouch and 5 kangaroo knife pouches. All of the knives were brand new and he told me had just bought them yesterday at an auction in Md.
 
and I got there a little late this week, so I was wondering what I may have already missed , because he told me had already sold a few knives b4 I got there. one that he described was a German knife with and alligator marking on it?
 
:confused: From my experiance, flea markets around my neck of the woods are mostly (maybe not a majority, but at least a pluality of the goods available) used to move stolen goods. :grumpy: It's no wonder you get great deals when the seller paid pennies on the dollar for the merchandise. :mad:

That's too bad. We have some great ones around here. :)
Most often, our flea marketeers are retired persons/couples who make a couple extra bucks by scouting out stuff at yard sales, auctions, etc. and bringing their goods (and bads, and uglies) to their weekend spot (most rent a table space for the entire season).
