In 2015 the only Busses I bought were the three I picked up at Blade. At age 69 I had decided that to continue to accumulate these things when I should begin selling the collection off for the sake of my heirs was not wise, so I ordered none. I would allow myself one or two at Blade every year just to participate.

I even resisted participating in the knife a week program currently running, until a small, thin knife appealed to me several weeks ago. "One small, relatively inexpensive knife won't hurt", I thought. Then the WTF hit and I recognized it as the ultimate Busse. I had to have one in INFI and one battle grade. Then came the WTH, and I could not resist the WTF/WTH set.

The addiction is in full rage again. I scan the Busse for Sale subforum and my hand shakes. I try to restrain it, but demon INFI has me in it's grip. Is there no way out? AAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHH!

Its got me tight too brother. I cant explain it. I tell myself no more. I can not resist the weekly release. I watch the forum on Tuesdays like a kid peeking over the railing waiting for Santa. Not sure the pull that INFI has but I can assure you it is there none the less.

I do know what you are talking about, i was at a mini gathering up i northern part of Sweden in a town named Ö-vik,
2 guys that also where at the gathering tricked me into becoming a BUSSE knife fan , im a former folder only guy,
i tought to my self i'll get 1 Busse and thats it, it was supposed to be a B7 or B8 or atleast the seller in Sweden said so,
it turned out to be a B10 LE, and after that i bougth a BGTG from a guy here in this forum (it's in transit to Sweden :) )
and i have 3 on order in the Busse shop, so far its the TGPBG, WTHBG and the BBBG all 3 whit black coating and blue and black G10
worst is it's under 2 weeks time.

My ardor has cooled a bit in recent weeks after scoring another Grail and the pending move this year. But even with that, I've still grabbed 4 from Operation 2 weeks and 2 custom folders

I don't think it ever goes away, just goes a little dormant. Sure Kim is happy to have the new toys to play with. Enjoy 2016!

I'll bring the Eagles for ya Mike!
"You can check-out any time you like, but you can never leave!" ;)

I'm "Being Good", and by that I mean I only have seven blades on order... :D

I've been "Done" more than once. I don't have much in the way of funds, because of massive student loans, and two kids. But I broke down with the WTF in sr101.

I was down to two pieces. The KZII and the Rattlehawk.

The struggle is real.

I came here looking for that "if you can only have one" knife, found it, and bought it.
Then thought, well one more can't hurt...
Then I said, well I should just have one small/medium/large...
Now I say,, ok one mini/small/medium/medium-large/large
It never ends!!!!

I'm in for 5 "two weeks" orders and a bunch off the exchange.

Finally had to pump the brakes. Been on the sidelines since the BJ, but it's been tough. I might be in for a few more depending on what's next, but can't get them all.

Do what makes you happy! A great philosopher once said. "Its my life, its now or never, i aint gonna live forever" ! ....... ok so maybe bon jovi said it

Enablers!!
MikeH: I will help you with your addiction, send your INFI to me for safe keeping while you detox.

I took a break for about 5 years but it has me back and I picked up more in the last three months that I had to put in extra floor joists.

A knife maker buddy told me about Infi, sending me on a quest. After a month looking at threads and researching, I decided an SHSH2 in Infi was my goal. Luckily on was listed not long after that. I was hooked, addicted, under kool-aid control. There's something about Infi! I think it's the same thing that makes me wanna strip every coated Infi blade! This stuff will mess you up!

Haahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. We are legion.

Well said.

To the OP, I would say there is no reason to sell off for the heirs. They can sell off what's left when you're gone. And get the reward of keeping what connects them to you. There's no reason to sell any blades unless and until you're having to pick up and move, and the truck can't carry it all.

I said, ok a gladius is all I need yet. 4 two weeks orders later and here we are. I wish Thatmguy was still at the Columbus shows. I miss the shop talk at the booth and I never spent the high dollars with busse direct like I did with him.
