Looks like another knifemaker likes this shape/style of blade.

So those who didn't get one well here's another option.

That is a real stretch of the imagination there.

I don't know, no choil, small ricasso, sharpened edge extends all the way to the heel of the blade and right up to the handle slabs. These are the major characteristics (as far as I can tell) that distinguish the SAR5 from other Busses. Yes the linked knife is bigger. It is no twin of the Sar5, but is definitely reminiscent. And, CPM3V-while not INFI- is considered a supersteel by many. That my Sar5 is my favorite Busse blade was a major factor in me purchasing the linked knife.

Ahh I thought that knife looked familiar.

I was over on another section of BF and saw that knife. My first thoughts were for my friend who has been trying to persuade me to sell him my SAR5.

Apologies for the thread echo, reminds me of some sort of saying that goes something like:

'If you sit by the river long enough, you will see the body of your enemy float by."

I'm changing this to read:

'If you sit on BF long enough, you will see every thread repeated again and again"
