Relaxing afternoon with the African Blackwood

So after a long day at work it is great to sit on the front steps and just relax with a cigar and some whiskey.

When I was enjoying these two I pulled out my Large African Blackwood Sebenza and noticed that I could finally take a picture with the afternoon sun that shows the grain of the wood. While I love the inlay Sebenza, the African Blackwood is very dark and sometimes it is hard to see the grain, and even harder to photograph.

Beautiful!
That first picture is a master piece. I love a good cigar, add in some liquor, and a folding knife....beautiful.

Good cigar, good booze, and good knife... Ahh yes, I love that picture. A cigar always tastes better when trimed with a good knife.

Thats a great shot.
I've been looking at getting a mnandi, and african blackwood was an option I was interested in.
These photos are much better (and more helpful) than the stock photos I've been staring at.

I hear you OP. This was a couple weeks ago, but I am about to light up another with a glass of JW. Just gotta pick which cigar for this afternoon. Life is full of difficult decisions.
