Release date on BM 420

Last I heard was late May, but it doesn't look like thats going to happen. I really need one of those as well as the fixed blade version Benchmade is doing.

I'd like to see some other blade offerings in this model. I think the 420 makes an excellent gentlemens/conversation knife. But please, no tanto blades on this model.

found out today from a friend that BM got a load of steel that didn't meet their specs. This put the 420 & 630 release off (maybe July for Resistor?) anyway, just save up your money. It will be worth the wait. There's a pic. of my torched 630 on CPF Gadgets etc forum..

I got to check out a 420 resistor prototype today at a local dealer. It is definately thicker than I thought, I really like the low ride pocket clip. Price was full retail. I would have picked it up if it was plain edge, but it wasn't.
