Release Dates for Vesuvius & Temperance?

Sal can you give me an idea when we can expect to be able to buy the Vesuvius, Temperance, or Meerkat models? If the remember correctly, the Meerkat should be coming soon, but I was really intrigued by the Vesuvius. I think it will be a hit similar to the success that Benchmade has had with its 730 & 940 Axis locks.

I just saw the new dealers catalog and the Vesuvius will not have the seafoam colored scales that the prototype like the one given to the late James Mattis had. The catalog showed the scales as either G-10 or G-10 with shell inserts like the small run of Natives that are currently out. It seems that the Massad Ayoob knife will be out and the Chinese folder as well as a G-10 scaled Lum tanto. What is really interesting to me is a new Herbst with ATS-55 and no anodizing on the handle. I also noted that the Meerkat and Temperance were not in the catalog; are they being delayed for later in 2001 or 2002?
