Release Dates?

Since the shot show is over and we can ask questions about new knives for 2011. What are release dates for the Hoodlum and Vantage Force? And what is the liner thickness on the Vantge Force?
 
Yeah, I was going to start a thread asking for a SHOT Show update, I'm surprised we havent heard from anyone.

I'm not sure on the Hoodlum, but the Vantage Force is February.

I've already seen the Vantage Force listed and sold on the bay. The 302's have also been sold there.

I saw the Force on there also but not sure if it was in hand ready to ship. Buck told me February. Maybe they released them earlier. 302 is available as is the 113.

I've been wondering if there's any new models we haven't already seen on the KC web site?:confused:
 
I believe that eBay rules prohibit listing for pre-orders. I just did a search of the completed listings and the Force doesn't show up and it's not in the current listings. I'm thinking maybe the listing was removed because it was for a pre-order.

If it sold, it should show up in the completed listings. If it was removed, there won't be any trace of it. :confused:

There is still one on there. I contacted the seller to see if it was in stock and have not received a reply yet.

I found it now. I was looking at BIN's only. I believe it had a BIN option when it started but I don't remember the price. It must have been high or I'd have bought it.;)

I know things slip out sometimes before they are generally available, like the two Paradigm's I picked up on eBay quite a while before the dealers had them.
 
Besides the handle and black blade is the new Vantage any different than the current model?
 
the new vantage is supposed the have an oversized liner. I would like to know what the new liner thickness is??
 
KC has some of the new ones listed as in stock, the 113 skinner, the larger Paklite and the 302 Solitaire.

other than the Hoodlum video there has not been any new info on 2011 Buck knives. I'm surprised at the lack of info released, no new pics from shot or press releases!

I like the Vantage line a lot, the new blade looks to be an improvement, not that the original was bad.

Hope they put out the new version without the coating though, small thing but I don't care for it. Plus, I'm trying to save Buck some money by not coating mine:D
