Can't seem to find any info about this company except what's on their website http://www.relentlessknives.com. The site says that their own DMC line is handmade in N.Carolina.

An annoyance is that Relentless' eBay ads are displayed when you search for "Phrobis". The word "Phrobis" is invisibly embedded in the ad but can be highlighted using Edit Find.

The DMC knives look interesting. I would consider ordering one if I could find out more or even see a product review.

i have talked to Dan Certo a couple of times through email about his knives and he seems to know what he is doing his knives run from plain hard use work knives to fanvy bowies and his prices seem pretty good all of his knives are done 100 percent in his own shop with a zone heat treatment and they have a lifetime warranty most of his knives are made out of 440c or 5160hc and built to last a lifetime worth of use

hope this help a little

Thanks for the reply. The guy has some interesting stuff, uses unusual materials such as 150 year old clock springs.

im not sure how dan is doing it but from what i have read and heard he is giving his knives a hard edge and a soft back in the tempering cycle rather than the heat treat cycle he is also stress releiving the blade at the same time so he end up with a knife that is 57-59 on the edge and 50-52 on the back so his knives are tough and hold a dam good edge at the same time while being easy to resharpen
