Hello all. I wanted to ask you about the reliability of this knife store online called MJ&S Knives. I recently ordered my first two Spydercos, a Dyad Jr. and a Calypso Jr. through them on August 1st. I've yet to receive any word from them, despite sending e-mail 2 days ago and calling, where I only got an answering machine. I left info. and never got a call back. Here's the link: http://mjsknives.com

Maybe I'm a bit impatient to get my brand new Spydies, but I've gotten stuff from e-bay and online stores much quicker than this. Please let me know your experiences, whether positive or negative, with this company, to see if I'm getting normal service, bad service, or just plain being scammed.

Thanks in advance!

Flood,

Contact Mark at either sales@mjsknives.com or info@mjsknives.com or knifeman@mjsknives.com.

There is also a thread in the Knives for Sale: Dealers forum that may give you more information.

I got my la Griffe from them in about a week, and no one comes close to a lot of their prices.

Flood, I have nothing but the highest regard for Mark. I know him and I have been dealing with his company for years. First, with his father Joe (God rest his soul) and now Mark. I have never had any problems with them. As mentioned, there is a posting about this in Knife Exchange, under the Dealers forum.

Mark is pretty much a one man show and gets huge amounts of e-mail and phone calls daily. I have wittnessed this myself. Mark is human and can make mistakes, but he always corrects the situation to evryone's satisfaction.

Hang in there, Mark will take care of you.

I am also a customer of Mark's and want to assure you of his integrity. He does alot of weekend shows but during the week he often answers email within hours. Give him a chance. He will satisfy you.

Mark is one of the best dealers on the WEB. I read something on the dealer's forum about him and I think he has a few problems right now that he is dealing with. Hope everything works out for him. I bought a bunch of display knives from him and he gave me an awesome deal. Just give him another call and I am sure he will be sending the knives shortly. Take care.

Ditto to what everyone else has stated. I have done many transactions with Mark and he is one of THE BEST knife dealers on the Web. He does stay VERY busy. Try E-mailing him again. I can guarantee he WILL do you right.
