Last knife of 2016, made this between orders, forged from pre-1960 leaf spring, machine finish bevel and hand finish clip, rusty-ic flats, black g10 guard with stabilized quilted maple blade is 9.5"

That is a wicked looking blade, excellent work. I love that you used G10 for the guard, that is pretty inventive.

There is absolutely nothing to dislike in this package!! The coupling of G10 for the guard with the quilted maple handle......I think it perfectly compliments the harpoon blade. Well done sir.....

Great looking knife.
I like how G10 guard looks between blade and handle.

Sorry to have missed this....great looking Fighter and sheath. :)

If I may throw out an improvement. Being a frustrated woodworker, I know how difficult quilted maple is to work with. However, your handle needs a bit more contouring.....it seems kinda bland and straight. To be perfectly honesty with you.....if the handle had more of a custom feel.....it would be mine as we speak!! I love your work.......seriously thinking about commissioning a custom blade from you........you are a true craftsman......my kind of maker!!

First of all thanks for the comment, I normally do more of a dropped and contoured handle, this is a really light and fast piece and I thought a straighter, less swelled handle worked. Once again many thanks

Well then, I completely take back my comment.....you have/had a legitimate reason......and I now understand. Congratulations on a great piece!!
