Got a question for all the knife experts out there, I see Rem Oil gets pretty high marks on the forum as a knife lube. I have been using it on my slippies ect. and it is fine, but what I want to know is, does it harm FRN, G10, Zytel, ect? If so, what should you use on a knife where the blade is surrounded by synthetic material on one or both sides, like the Spyderco Native or A G Russell Featherlite or the Kershaw Skyline ect? Lots of knives have nylon washers in them too, like the Tomcat 3.0, and I would say my question applies to them as well. I also have Ballistol (I believe this is mineral oil) and Break Free at my disposal, so if one of them is better, I could switch to that. Let me know guys, I don't want to have the wrong chemical turn my Native into gooey plastic mush :D

FRN, G10, and Zytel are incredibly resistant to most light solvents found in lubricants. Not a problem at all. G10 is pretty much invincible, acetone doesn't even phase it.
