I have one knife from China which I wanted to sell, so to make it more interesting I made a sheat like I did earlier for my Al Mar which is smaler knife than this one. I could do only one stich line, but for fun double it. My dyeing is much better now cause I finally got some good dye and wool daubers (I couldnt beleive how good is that stuff). I still need to find better cement. Criticism welcome, hope you like it

Very cool Macan. That is a very uniform dye job. Always been fascinated with that flap.

Thanks Dave.:) I am slowly collecting tools I need so I hope it will be only better. Flap on the first works fine and I hope that this one will be tesed by customer. thats why I made two options: slots, and its possible to pull belt trough whole length of sheat, depending on belt width, that's why I made slots down(for standard width) so sheat will ride higher.

I made same sheat for again bigger knife and wanted to use a white thread on this leather. next tme I wil made some changes so sheat will be smaller.

Thanks Dusty! I had to try to make same "turtle" sheat but with less work amd smaller dimensions
and made this which I will carry. I tried to make smaller dimensions and cause of that rhe end of flap is not completely in contact with layer beneath(couldnt formed -stretch leather that much) When you want to make steep sides on wet forming whar you do first: the end of a knife or sides?
