She is having a total right knee replacement on Tuesday morning. This came up kind of sudden, as she expected to have this done eventually but the doctor advised her to get it over with. So now I have two women of limited mobility to take care of for awhile.

A friend of mine had both knees replaced last year. Within twelve weeks she was moving around better than she had for years.

I'm sure it will go well.

Mike, she will be in our thoughts.

She'll be up kickin your, well, you know, in no time!!! ;)

wish her well for us mike.

i had a knee replaced a couple of years ago and now i have three of them, i can run like the wind!!

ps: who's going to feed you? :(

God bless Kathy with the very best outcome! I will be praying for your family. As the caregiver, take good care of yourself too.

Wish her the best. The techniques and materials used in modern knee replacement are excellent. My mother had pain everyday until one of hers was replaced. She doesn't complain about any pain now, but you do have to exercise it as soon as possible to keep the new joint from having a very limited range of motion.

Fingers crossed and waiting for you to post the all clear. Great meeting you Mike, all of my best wishes for Kathy. Sounds like you will have a little less time to talk with us for a little while. I'm hoping for a speedy recovery. -Shane

I'm sure everything will be fine Mike, but I'll remember her in my prayers :)
God bless you and your family, and if there is anything I can do,,just let me know. :)

Hmmmmm tend to the wimmins, guard the INFI
tend to the wimmins, guard the INFI
What to do? What to do?

I'll help ya out here buddy. Just ship the INFI up here and I'll guard it for you while Kathy is recouping. No charge. Happy to do if for another brother of the zipper. That way you can keep your mind clear of worries while you're putting the girls through their paces. Dang, I can't find any emoticons that express sincerity

Here's hoping for a speedy recovery :)
