I was hiking where I made the fungi lamp a while back and decided to see how easy it would be to use it again. Please take into account that it has been raining consistantly here for the past 3 weeks or so and today was no exception !

To re-ignite the lamp I figured I'd use some Cedar bark and as there were no Balsam right by me I'd mix in some pine resin.

First job was to fluff up some Cedar using the serrated part of my SAK.

Add the Cedar and resin to the soaked lamp.

A few strikes of the old LMF and....

I took a quick leak and when I got back to the lamp it was well established !

I'm pretty impressed with this lamp idea given the amount of rain we have had !

Pit, I didn't see your previous fugi lamp.

What exactly is it, and how does it work?

Inquiring minds want to know.
