Becuse if it was before say 1997 I can afford a $700 knife now more than I could have afforded a $100 knife then. I was very cash poor until about 1997/98.

My first Busses were at a show in California and that was in 1995 I think. My first official order was not too much after I think. I have been into knives far longer, but with Busse, it started then, so not really that long ago.

This is the only pic that I have of it, so I am going to have to snap some new ones this weekend. I got the middle one plus the green BuyBacon sheath for a super low price.

(Oh, yeah, if I had the cash, I would have snagged that crinkle coat 7 as well..)

I am a bit behind you on the Basics, but we do have the same sheath. I added a Tec Lok I had.

Until about 18 months ago, you could still buy the NO-e for that price from Shomer-Tec. That is where I got mine. Came with a sheath, too.
