Remember this masterpiece by Bura -- 12 inch OAL, about 9/32 thick, 12 OZ, all silver mounted with spotted deer horn handle? I got two more in yesterday afternoon's shipment. They are exactly as shown above and perfect EXCEPT the very nicely formed silver pouch to house karda and chakma is made of brass on these two, rather than silver like the original.

Because of this variation in design and material we will sell these two knives for $225 -- $50 off regular and let BirGorkha handle the price reduction because of material substitution. Maybe they will learn to maintain original designs because it is hitting them right in the pocketbook where it hurts -- and again, maybe they won't.

This is a collector item and will come with full provenance.

Call or email if interested.

Tell us about the kothimoda, Harry!

I think we have three of the deer horns left for handles. Then it is another search or maybe a trip to Taplejung to see our hunter pal over there and see if he has anything for us.

I`d like something like that if it came with a usable karda and chamaka. These don`t.

You may give me too much credit Uncle.I do like the silver scabbard. That looks like real leather under the silver; not patent, felt or other junk.
