Good job. I flagged another one yesterday, for Reason: "Buck knives are not made in China"

Ooops, some Bucks are made in China. I hope you flagged a fake one and not a real Buck.

That one definitely isn't a Buck. It looks more like the stuff from Pakistan than China, fit and finish wise. At least from the photos.

I only go to the Bay for laughs anymore.

I put one seller on notice that he was selling fakes via an email but he never responded.Maybe he didn't understand my poor engrish.

That's unfortunate. I've bought alot (100's actually) of great Bucks on eBay. There are some really high quality sellers (some forum members and BCCI members) that sell some really good stuff there. My collection wouldn't be 1/10th the size that it is without eBay.

I go there but get tired of slugging through the chaff to find a grain of wheat. That's why it is mostly for laughs for me.

Slogging can be a lot of fun, especially when you find that one darn treasure and it pays off.

:D

As for the knives in question, they have been selling like hotcakes for months (see my earlier thread "Selling like Hotcakes) and they will continue to do so--they apparently have incredible eye appeal.

Here's a record of the last two weeks.......every single one offered has been sold.....one went for $41.00.

Buck's best strategy would be to allow the maker to use the Buck trademark and give Buck a percentage of the profits.
