Just in case anyone is interested, this is how my grandfather went to war.

Great pic, the Lighthorse brigade was one of the units many recognise and have written about in literature of the war.
My eternal thanks to your Grandfather.

Lest we forget.

I thanked the relative of a digger today while I was out and about, he was wearing his grandfathers medals and was filled with a pride not seen nearly enough in people nowadays.

I only wish I could have done more, 11am went by unobserved by most around me...saddens me somewhat.
