Simona you are definitely an artist in your own rite. Probably even more so than most of us even realize. I have never really been very impressed with photography per se but the pictures that I have seen you post here and on the factory Spyderco Forum should be in an art Gallery. The ones you did of the Gunting on the "Gunting-Girl" website were great as well. Next I want to see you do some photos of the big DYAD ( C-44P&S). Let's all give the lady a high five. :)

Simona, thank you for the beautiful layouts. As always your work is outstanding. Did you add tape to the clip of your Shabaria?

Simona,

Thank you for the beautiful photos, and also for paying homage to Mr. Bradichansky.

After a long fling with the Massad Ayoob, and more recently the Yojimbo, the Shabaria has worked its way back into my EDC rotation. I picked it out for a recent trip to Delaware, and marvelled again at its grace, balance, butter-smooth release, and wickedly sharp blade. I can't believe I let it languish in a drawer for a couple of years!

Your photos do great justice to a true classic. :)

Thank you, Simona. Your photos do indeed do justice to a great classic, both as a designer and as a design. And, if Sal and others are correct, as a man as well.

Well "JFrame" your are definitely on the same page I am for sure. When I first saw the Shabaria and when I first saw the Massad Ayoob I thought these were 2 of the ugliest knives I ever saw. But like yourself when I actually got some hands on use of both knives they became part of my EDC rotation as well. I like yourself found these knives to be among the most functional and well engineered I have ever encountered. This Spyder-world is a very small world indeed. I am now looking for a Shabaria for EDC now. Amen to everything you mentioned for sure. Have a super holiday. JD Spydo :)

JD,

Ditto on the holiday wishes and cheers! :)

And as for our taste in knives, the quote, "Brilliant minds think alike," comes to mind... ;)

Best regards,
