Remington 3 Piece Skinner Set

Found this while browsing the shelves at wally world, not sure what model 440 SS but each blade is 3/16th thick, not sharp at all out of the package.

I will give them a whirl in a week when the season starts, $26 +tax wasn't bad.

Nice looking Set, now I have something to sharpen tonight.

Solid 440 stainless steel tip to tip
blade lengths:
3" Guthook, 7 1/4" Guthook
3" Skinner, 7 3/8" Skinner
2 7/8" Caping blade, 6 1/2" Caper
All knives fit in the heavy duty Cordura sheath
Easy access finger hole.

Doesn't look bad for the money, as long as you can get them sharp and they hold a decent edge, thats all that counts.

Well I just finished profiling the edges, now they are sharp. They took a bit of effort to profile too.
We shall see how they hold up.
