Picked up a Remington 50th Anniversary 44 Mag Limited Edition knife off of ebay a month ago. Found it to be a Cuda EDC clone with a half serrated blade. There is a 44 Mag cartridge shellhead in the handle, all the screws, stud and clip are black and the rest of the knife is stainless finish, only markings are on the blade:
Remington 50th Anniversary
44 Remington Magnum
1955 - 2005

No mention of steel used or country of origin. If these were part of the EDC's that had AUS-8 used for the blade wouldn't there be a country of Origin marking? The lack of 154cm would lead a person to believe that the blade is of a lesser steel. Were any of the EDC's made with 400 series steel?
I also think that the lack of USA on the knife makes one think it was imported but there is no marking on the package or on the knife that gives a clue of the country of origin.

Any thoughts or information?
