Hi my brother just picked up a new remington 887. I started looked up reviews and saw thet alot of people said it was junk but most of these reviews were from last year. i was wondering if any one new if remington fixed the problems on these guns or if there still not very good. thanks

we had a recall on them right after they came out for some issue with barrels. i have yet to see any problems with them since. cool gun, but ugly as sin!

Its a great waterfowl gun. I would lean more towards the 870 mainly because parts for that thing are never ending. Just in case I want to change the stock or barrels etc.
