Remington and Browning knives

From what I have been able to determine, neither Remington or Browning make any of their knives, all being made under contract from various sources. For the last 25 years I had assumed Camillus made all of the Remington knives but I do not who the current manufacturer of the bullet knives and other slipjoints marked made in the USA from Remington. Browning seems to have their knives made from sources all over the world, and the quality of them varies greatly, some seem fairly nice and the lowest priced ones are nice looking chinese built and of suspect quality. I would hope buying a brand name would assure some level of quality even when made from various global sources. I wondered if anyone has information on knives branded Remington or Browning that they would like to share, good, bad or comments on specific models that they own or have owned in the past.

I have a few Browning Ice Storm knives. They have VG-10 blades and are made by Mcusta. They are very well made knives and they have pocket clips that let them ride very low in your pocket. They are selling for about a third of what I paid for my Mcusta. If you don't mind the aluminum handles, they are a great deal.

Arrowhead manufacturing made some of the remington's and if i recall bear may have also. The new remington knives are made in Italy.
