I am looking at the .410 SPR210N SxS
It ain't no English SxS, but then it only costs 500.00
Anyone got any specs esp. weight

I can't speak on the sxs your looking at, but I have a Spartan o/u 12ga that I really like. Its a notch up from normal Russian gun construction. The fit and finish is decent. Its no Browning or ruger red label, but it should have no problem doing what you want to do. Hope it helps.

410's are fun to shoot. I am sorry I cannot comment on the quality of your make and model. You just brought back memories of the first shotgun I ever shot.

Sorry, I haven't handled the SxS mentioned, but I also own a Baikal 12ga. O/U (IZH27). I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another Baikal product. I don't know if they can be rivaled in their price range.

Just my $.02 worth, but I guess that's what you are looking for so... I would buy a used higher quality one before I went this route unless it's not going to be used much.
I got a used Weatherby O/U by SKB that's really nice for not a lot more than your talking about, and for just a few bucks more you can get a used Berretta or Browning.
