I just came across an old remington barlow knife. Two blades, bone exterior.
Model# is barley legible. KB4-4.
On the other side of the same blade blade it says " REMINGTON"and to the right of that it reads " made in" and to the left of" REMINGTON it says" U.S.A.
Can anyone out there give me an idea on how old this knife could be?. Any feedback wild be apprieciated.

Probably RB4 not Kb4. This is what my book say for a RB44 Which is the closest I find to what you describe.

RB44
Pattern: Barlow
Blade(s): large clip & pen
Handle: Brown bone
Shield: none
Length Closed: 3 3/8"

O.B.

Thank you for that info. And if I said one then I stood corrected, it is marked exactly as I'm showing...RB4-4. IT IS BROWN BONE, very patina and not sure but on bother sides of the bolster it either says Remington or Barlow. Hard to tell it's very worn
