Saw several Remington 1980's reproduction bullet knives at a flea market today. Prices ranged from 150 to 325. Brand new, in the box with the tissue paper wrap etc, cards. The one I wanted to take home was the Remington lockback bullet knife, two different sizes, similar to these (these are the same size)

In finding these pictures, I see that that price at the flea market may be a little high. Nope, I didn't pick them up. Going to pursue a trade with the owner, the proprietor of a small gun shop in south Hanover, PA (his nephew was trying to sell them for him).

Great examples of traditional knives.

Yeah, just a little high. I have one of those from 1990 and had it rehandled in stag by Muskrat Man. I'll post a pic if I get around to taking one.

Great knives!

P.S. Here's a link where you can find a bunch of mint in box 80's era Remington repros made by Camillus, all for under $50. Some even have carbon steel blades. This seller, Mike Latham is also as good as they come. http://www.collectorknives.net/other2.html

The Remington lockback bullet knife dated 1990 is one of the most common to find. Got mine new in the box on ebay for less than $30 including shipping. Most 90's models are available for less than $50 new in the box. The limited edition Silver Bullet knives will bring roughly twice as much as the standard Bullet knife of the same model. Not sure if they are worth it as the Silver Bullets are still Delrin handled.

timsclips, I believe the Sterling Silver Bullets are all Bone Handled with exceptions. A Small Trapper (R1176) Stag Scaled and several patterns with Pearl Scales.

I found several much cheaper after a few minutes looking online. Maybe theres a reason I've seen these in the gunshop for the past five years ;).

Regardless of their scarcity and value, I've always been impressed with the quality of the Camillus made Remington repros. Great users to be sure.

The few I looked at were great. The slippies are probably the best I have ever seen, except for a custom trapper.
