Remington Fixed Blade ATS-34 Info?

On a whim, I just bought a Remington fixed blade knife from Sierra Trading Post for $40. It was advertised as ATS-34,which is why I ordered it, and, to my surprise, it really is. STP is not expert in knives and I wasn't sure what would show up.

It has a full tang 4" x1-3/16" x 1/8" drop point blade and black plastic handle scales with finger grooves and a thong hole. The fit and finish are decent and the sheath is rather oversize but genuine leather. The knife alone weighs about 5.25 oz. Not too bad for the price.

Does anyone know who actually makes "Remington" knives? It's marked USA so it is domestic but I don't know if it's the same Remington as the gun manufacturer. Any help with this?

There are only a few firms in this country that could or would manufacture a product like that.
The likely culprit: Camillus - the greatest (largest?) knife manufacturer in the world today.
The SERE Operator is likely a Camillus product also.

I'm just guessing here. Someone else will know for sure but may decide not to reveal this confidential information.
