Well I did a search on here and didn't come up with much info. Got this today as an impulse buy, it was at a sporting goods store marked down to very cheap. If it isnt deal spotting I will be happy to say where and how much. It says made in USA seems to be jigged bone. Quality seems good but I normally don't get new slip joints so I cant compare it to say a new Case. Does any one know much about it? Thanks

They came out in 2010 I believe and they're built by Bear & Son....

I'm interested in any information about these knives, too. I saw them about a month ago for the first time, and weren't sure if they were US made Remingtons or not. Could I ask which store you purchased these at? I don't THINK it's dealspotting. Someone chime in here please.

Taken from the sticky "Vendor Links, Referrals & Endorsements":

Feel free to contact one another via email etc.

Thanks guys.

Not having handled it I have to say I do like it. Ive seen it on some websites and really considered buying one but I didnt know enough about it to justify ordering. Ive been really wanting a good congress pattern for a while now. I like the green bone. If you would, post a in hand review after youve used it a bit.

Thats a good idea. So far I like it! Im not crazy on the green color it is a bit loud, but I really like the feel and texture. Ive never had this pattern and its a bit bigger than I normally use with out a pocket clip. They had a few other smaller patterns in the same color for a few more dollars. I may go back and pick up a few of those. The quality seems to be high.

Thanks, Peregrin. I was curious about that because I see all these older threads from years ago, particularly when I'm looking at Spyderco Native reviews, that say "Oh looky here, I got a Wally-World special Native for 40 buckers!" And then I get mad because they aren't there anymore, and wish my younger mind had just been on BF instead of studying. At the very least, right now I would have a Native...
