Here is what I think is the complete portfolio of knives made by Buck under the Remington name (in the 2017-2020 time frame). If you see any errors or omissions or have any that I am missing please let me know. This does not cover the Remington knives in gift tins, which I covered in a previous post. In my opinion, the Heritage Series and the Bullets are the best. The others are nothing to write home about.

Well done, I didn't remember/know about the ones that weren't bullet knives. Were the non-bullet knives all made off-shore? Thanks.

Yes, all the non-bullet ones are imported. Even though imported, I kind of like the Heritage Series Stockman, Toothpick, and Trapper. They look better than on the picture.

It seems that someone is still making the FAST fixed blade knives since several sites are still selling them. Is there a way to tell the difference between the current production Remington fixed blades and the ones made by Buck from 2017-2020?

They were making them before Buck took over as well. The Buck ones are stamped with the part numbers as indicated. The Buck packaging is mostly white while the modern ones are mostly green. The address on the Buck made ones will be Post Falls, ID.

The history of Remington knives in modern times is hard to find (for me). It seems Bear & Son may have been making Remingtons just prior to the Buck take-over. Maybe they were just making the bullets, I don't know. After the Buck take-over, it is sketchy. Maybe only the bullet was made in 2021, I don't know. I think SMKW contracted GEC to make it that year. But in 2022, it appears someone else took over and Remington Cutlery is active. Also, SMKW again contracted someone, Bear & Son, to make a bullet for 2022. Perhaps SMKW has a stake in the new Remington Cutlery, I don't know. Regardless, I think Remington is now all imported, except for the bullet knives.
