I have a couple Remington knives I purchased for a song and dance back when the old Gaylans went out of business back in the early 2000s. I believe they were made by Camillus. I have the scout and upland version. I am really impressed with the quality of these knives. The handles are delrin but the fit and finish blade tightness and walk and talk are as good as any of the more expensive knives I own. I just wish I would have bought a few more back then

What a scout!! I absolutely love the blade combination on that one. Yea . . . I'd take two or three of those. :D

Robert, the Remington Delrin-handled knives are sort of unsung work-a-day knives - I have several that I haven't even taken pictures of. Here are two that I do have pictures of: the Whittler stays in my car as a back-up knife, the Trapper stays in my truck for the same reason. I wish I had more variations of them too. OH

I've got a Remington Lock Back that I probably bought back in the late 1980's or early 90's. It's the one in the center. I think they called it a Gentleman's knife. About 3" closed.

A shame some dealers and collectors have placed the old 1984 lockbacks in safes and vaults and want all the money in the world for them. Nice knives. But then again I am a user and prefer to carry a knife. I have a 1984 R1303 and one of the above scout knives, great knives. I have a bird and trout waiting for my little brother to give it to the doctor that saved his life (he flatlined a couple times when he was a baby, but you wouldn't know it now, 19 and gives all the ladies whiplash, looks like the Terminator).

I love the Camillus made Remingtons. I have a few of my own, but would love to have both of those two. Someday when the stars align, the evening breeze blows gently, and someone overlooks one on the bay with the sale closing out I'll pounce.

I forget what year of the top of my head, but the Lumberjack Bullet Knife is a great one that carries much easier in the pocket than you would think at first.

Then there is the Musket 1 Granddaddy Barlow in both bone and delrin. I have a bone one bought new when they came out in the early 90s and it is also very easy to carry in jeans pockets. There's the...

You get the idea. Some great knives in the bunch and those two you scored are pretty sweet.

Here are a few that mix in both Camillus made Remington, A.G. Russell, and the top one is a genuine Camillus I snagged in new condition for $5.
