I have a very clean Remington Model 51 380. I am thinking about parting with it.
Mine is a 1920's (9 groove slide) with nice original bluing and original hard rubber grip plates.
It is more of a collector piece than a shooter, although it shoots great.

This is my only safe queen-any reason I should keep it? I am always wanting something different.

I had a fine one but had to part with it ! Terrible day.A beautifully designed and made pistol but for some reason never got to the collectors interest. Just be careful removing the grips ==wrong way and it will break !

This one is staying the way it is. I have field stripped it a few times, but never the grips.

Wow...

Nice gun too ;)

That's a very nice Model 51. I'd keep it because it would be too difficult and very costly to replace down the road.

I'd hold onto it. It's something that you'll never be able to easily replace, especially if its as nice as you say.

It is very clean. I think of all the other guns I want and can't buy then I see this just sitting there. All my guns are users.

Are you still considering selling your Model 51? If so, please let me know. My wife is John Douglas Pedersen's granddaughter, and it would be nice to get the Model 51 "back in the family." (We do not own a Model 51 now but I'm looking for one.)
